Coffee Simulator V1.4 - The Simulator No One Asked For
#1
Well today was one of those days, a day that I hate having, you know the type where you have so much free time, and do nothing with it? Yeah, one of those lame days. But not to fear, I wrote another text adventure, though this isn't the game taking place in Vietnam, or Death Cometh. No, it's a Coffee Simulator, in it you have everything  one would need in making a perfect cup of coffee. The night before you spent your time instead of sleeping, playing video games, and watching Night Court. Now, you must make your cherished cup of coffee within the five minute time limit or else you lose your job. Can you make the perfect cup of coffee? Will you still have a job in the end? Who knows, but I do hope you enjoy it though. Now if you've played Lawn Mower Simulator or any of those types of games, than you'll enjoy this one.

[EDIT BY ADMIN]: The attached *.7Z file contains the *.BAS and windows executable. Download at your own risk. I uploaded just the *.BAS (BASIC code file) for those who want it only.

On a side note, this is a cool little game and it was meant to be about me, as a joke of course.

Dave,

That was a very interesting subject for a text adventure game. I really love how you pick topics to write about, and are not afraid of trying anything.

I really appreciate you sharing your work with all of us here, but you have put me at the point where I am getting anxious to see the next text adventure of yours.

Keep up the great work!

Thank you, I did it as a joke to when I was told by many
in the IF community that I should just stop what I'm doing
and give up. Which, I guess if you think that then checkout
this game.

Wait a sec! Johnno's wasn't the first at this forum?

Dang! This sounds so familiar!

@Bplus,

David Taylor, "The Last True Great American", came onboard with me back on 8/6/2014, and came from QB64.net with me.

Strangely, he and I became good friends over the years.

I would like to ask for the next version to be packed in a zip so I can have a taste.

I just read book, The Monk of Mokha, so I not only like drinking the stuff...

Oh here is disturbing news:

According to book, these investors bugged out on him after saying they would support him. Wait... which uncle? Mocha Mills?

Thanks Walter!

Very different from Johnno's version, nice ASCII coffee maker!

Instead of guessing what the magic words are in their exact order and spelling..., maybe build a command from a list of verbs and objects and... of course the lists would have way more commands and objects... than needed to make  a cup of coffee, but who would think you need a chain saw to open that dang pouch of coffee! ;-))
