Edit Signature
#1
When trying to initiate my signature for the first time, I pasted in the text/urls and was told
that it was longer than 1024 characters and to truncate it by some amount when I know the
entry was not that long. Please help! Erik.

PS I do find it is funny how the President's daughter claims women are missing out on the future because they make up only 21% of the tech jobs. Here's a clue, Ivanka, girls don't like math and science. Yeah, it is a gender thing. Just like I don't like playing with dolls... unless they're G.I Joe dolls, with the kung fu grip; and then only if they are beating the crap out of Ken dolls. But seriously, I don't think in 25 years of programming forums I have seen more than two or three females interested in coding.

@eoredson,

The reason you were being told that your signature was longer than 1024 bytes is that the formatting code you used was also counted. I am not sure why it was since I selected "NO" on the "MyCode affects signature length" admin option. Here is what your signature looks like with the formatting code:

At this point, the only thing I can think of to do was increase the amount of allowed bytes in a signtaure so this should happen again, and formatting should cause any more issues.

Holy mother of pancake syrup. Why didn't he just include inline css in that signature, too! I agree it is funny the script just doesn't ignore the characters in the markup. Even N54 does that, and that community was up and running 10 years before the discovery of fire. Well anyway, nice find and solve Walt, and I promise I won't write my thesis in my signature now that you amped up the word limit. Come to think of it, my thesis probably could have fit under the previous allowance restriction.
