Can Walter make you feel welcome or what?

Append: I WAS going to post a link to O2 but this whole forum went down when I was over there reading about AurelEdit.

I copied the link and was ready to return here to post and bammo! no access to here???

Might be my crappy browser again.

bplus,

It wasn't your browser. The crash was due to me changing the password to the database for this forum instead of the database of another site I was testing.

I was working on solving the "birthday" problem on this forum when I made the mistake.

This site was only down for about five minutes due to my error and Mark just happened to access it during that time frame. Everything is fine now.

Thanks Walter,

I guess I panicked when our favorite site went down. Yikes! I even signed up with the org.

Hi Aurel,

What does O2 have in the way of EVAL or equivalent?

Are you searching all those forums for something you may have in your own backyard?

Mark,

Thank you and thank you.

I do know how it feels when a favorite website goes down, hence the creation of this site.

I will be adding another category under the "Other Programming Langauges" soon. I just downloaded Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2017 today and I am anxious to see what I can do with it. It is free for a single individual as well as for private and commercial use. It was 32GB in size! It's a good thing I did it at work today during lunch with our semi high-speed internet. It took about 2-1/2 hours to download and install.

o2 don't have EVAL or something similar
but have one another powerfull command called COMPILE source
which can compile source code at runtime or JIT.

in my own backyard...hmm maybe
i dont look exactly for EVAL or equivalent than on algorythm for parser which
is the faster for direct interpreting and as you may see it looks that is PCP.

Oh hey!

Never did get around to posting probably Aurel's favorite BASIC other than Python that is! Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

http://www.oxygenbasic.org/forum/index.php

Curious why Aurel does not say or post anything about it here?

Oh, I see Aurel has been deleting posts over there. The conversation was on the subject of Lisp.

In fact all my code posted here is in Oxygen basic or in CB.
