@Bplus

The reason I chose this forum software (MyBB for those who wonder) is not only is it easy to modify, it allows members to share images, code, and video, some of the most important things I wanted on the forum. Why send someone to another site for a video or image when they can be displayed right in the post.

I want to give members all the tools I can so they can share their creativity on a higher level.

Another cool feature this forum software offers is a Page Manager system where I can create separate pages with the same look an feel as the forum, but without any of the categories and sub-forums. Hopefully I will be utilizing this system sometime in the near future when I start creating how-to's and tutorials.

@bplus,

I try to stay busy with things, though the things I do vary widely from day to day. I just do what ever I feel like at the moment unless I have a game plan and get into something heavy.

Like today and last night, I did some heavier research (then what I had done in the past) on GitHub and finally found a happy medium with it then ever before. So now I have a bunch of great demos shared on it (no executables - all source code) for everyone to try. I didn't upload everything I done because most of it need a bit of tweaking and updating before I would ever share it with the public. Of course, at this point, it is all QB64 projects. I have a ton of things to go through to pick and choose what else I will share, but there is plenty enough there to get people started.

You can see my GitHub place (whatever you call it) here: https://github.com/TheJoyfulProgrammer

I also forked the latest QB64 there to just in case I ever get the bug again to touch it up. However, this time, I actually forked QB64 the correct way and will attempt to make changes correctly.

I know, I here some people in the background asking if this will have any influence over CrystalBASIC, and the answer is YES and NO. It will have some influence in how I build CrystalBASIC, but not by how QB64 is coded. No, I will create CrystalBASIC from scratch and in my own way, but what I will do is use GitHub as a tool for development like QB64 does.

Things are still a bit stressful in my life, but I have been able to relax enough to bring myself to do something. At least I am not living in a hotel room, a campground, or in my car at the moment, so things are a little better for me. I still have a ways to go, but it is looking up at the moment.

Walter, you've found your way into the servers or the cloud or Rio?

@bplus

What do you mean by, "found your way into the servers or the cloud?"?

There is episode when Sheldon wants to live long enough to be unloaded to the cloud or whatever / where-ever one goes to do these things.

Sorry that was terrible link! I thought that Amazon would give a synopsis of Ray's Book (Guess I should have Bing'd it.) But Ray was not the first to speculate and write about a technological singularity:

@bplus,

I have seen several episodes of the Big Bang Theory, but I am not avid watcher. Matter of fact, other than what is on NetFlix, I do not have a show that I religiously watch except for Doctor Who. I have watched it since I was about 9 or 10. I use to be hooked on The Walking Dead for the longest time, but I grew tired of them killing off my favorite characters. Yes, it is a world of uncertainty and everyone could meet their fate, but I can't stand the thought of losing Daryl, Maggie, or Carol. I could care less about Rick and the others.
